University of Kashmir Announces Two Key Administrative Appointments

Srinagar,  KNT: The University of Kashmir has effected two key administrative changes, appointing a new Chief Coordinator for the National Education Policy (NEP) Cell and a new Warden for the Ghani Kashmiri Research Scholars (GKRS) Hostel with immediate effect.

According to separate orders issued by the University’s Administration Teaching Section, Prof. Ajaz Ahmad Dar, Professor in the Department of Chemistry, has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Coordinator, NEP Cell, in addition to his existing duties, until further orders. He replaces Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad Siddiqi, Professor and Head of the Department of Management Studies, who has been relieved of the additional charge at his own request.

In another order, Dr. Javeed Ahmad Puju, Assistant Professor at the Centre for Distance and Online Education, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Warden of the Ghani Kashmiri Research Scholars (GKRS) Hostel. He succeeds Dr. Altaf Hussain, Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, who has also been relieved of the additional charge on his own request.

Both appointments have come into effect immediately and will remain in force until further orders, the University said. [KNT]
