Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign To Be Organised Across Madrasas In Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh, programmes related to the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will be organised with enthusiasm in all madrasas across the state. Minister for Minority Welfare Danish Ansari has directed that students and youth studying in madrasas be encouraged to participate in the campaign. He said programmes involving the hoisting of the national flag, singing of the national anthem, patriotic activities and awareness initiatives highlighting the contributions of great freedom fighters will also be organised in madrasas across the state.
Yesterday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led the Tiranga Yatra in Gorakhpur district. He said the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is a tribute to the sacrifices of freedom fighters and urged people to display the national flag at their homes with pride and respect. The nearly 2.5-kilometre-long yatra started from the Nagar Nigam premises and concluded at Railway Station Chowk.
The Chief Minister undertook the padyatra carrying the Tricolour in his hand with the sentiment of ‘Nation First’. Mr Adityanath also paid floral tribute and offered flowers at the statue of Veerangana Maharani Lakshmibai located at the Nagar Nigam premises, paying homage to her contribution and sacrifice in the freedom struggle. He said the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, which began in 2022, is moving towards its peak every year.
Meanwhile, Tiranga Yatras were also taken out today in several districts, including Jalaun, Balrampur and Ayodhya. In Shravasti, the SDRF and Flood PAC conducted a Tiranga rally by boat on the Rapti River.
In Varanasi, around 800 women associated with self-help groups are playing an active role in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. These women are engaged in preparing nearly 3 lakh national flags, which will be distributed across all 694 gram panchayats of Varanasi under the campaign.
