PM Modi Meets Armenia PM Nikol Pashinyan On SCO Summit Sidelines In Bishkek
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met PM of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Bishkek. The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across various areas, including defence, economics, pharma, science & technology, culture and education.
They also exchanged views on regional and global developments, including the situation in West Asia. Shri Modi reiterated that India looked forward to working closely with Armenia to further deepen and expand bilateral ties. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi had a warm interaction with members of the Indian community in Bishkek. During his visit to Kyrgyzstan, Shri Modi paid floral tribute at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial in Bishkek. Prime Minister is on a two-day visit to Kyrgyzstan. Tomorrow, he will address the 26th Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
