Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia Launches Two Projects In Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh

Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia, today launched two important projects in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. He inaugurated the modern Head Post Office in Shivpuri. The post office has been upgraded under the Post Office Modernisation Scheme. People will get Speed Post, Savings Bank, Postal Life Insurance, Aadhaar, Parcel and financial services at one place.

The post office also has easy access for persons with disabilities and a comfortable waiting hall for citizens. Mr. Scindia also performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the country’s seventh Postal Training Centre in Kakrwaya area. The centre will be built at a cost of around 91 crore rupees. Postal employees from Madhya Pradesh and nearby states will get advanced training at the centre. It will help improve the skills of postal employees and strengthen postal services.
