J&K Rural Development recruitment rules yet to be finalized

Srinagar,  KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday told the Legislative Assembly that the recruitment rules of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department have not yet been finalized and the draft is under examination.

The government said observations raised during the process are being examined by the concerned authorities before the rules are finalized.

The issue relates to the framing and revision of recruitment rules governing posts under the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department.

The government said the process would be completed after examination of the observations and completion of the prescribed procedure.

The department has been examining recruitment and service-rule related matters amid continuing administrative requirements in the rural development sector. [KNT]
