Home Minister Amit Shah Congratulates PM Modi On Completing 25 Years In Public Service

Home Minister Amit Shah today congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 25 years in public service. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that on this day in 2001, Mr Modi took the oath as Chief Minister of Gujarat and since then his continuous journey of relentless service, struggle, and dedication as Chief Minister and Prime Minister has become synonymous with the welfare of the poor, empowerment of women, upliftment of youth, and prosperity of every section of society.
Mr Shah said that Prime Minister Modi has transformed the very definition of governance through implementation of people-centric policies, firmness in decision-making, transparency, and a guarantee of results, while establishing the ideal of politics of performance.
The Home Minister said that as Gujarat Chief Minister, Mr Modi rebuilt the earthquake-ravaged Kutch, turning it into a model of reconstruction, through the Jyotigram Yojana. Mr Shah said that Mr Modi ensured 24-hour electricity reached every village, via solar energy and Vibrant Gujarat. The Home Minister said that he gave a new direction to investment and industry and achieved an over 8 per cent agricultural growth rate.
The Home Minister also said that this same vision was expanded further by Mr Modi as Prime Minister. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India achieved new milestones from space to the seas, and from global forums to internal security. Mr Shah said that Mr Modi has instilled confidence in crores of countrymen, given the mantra of ‘Viksit Bharat’, and elicited a resolve to make India a leader in every sector by 2047.
