Shreyas Iyer Climbs To Seventh, Shubman Gill Remains No. 1 In ICC Rankings

India T20I captain Shreyas Iyer has climbed to a career-best seventh spot in the latest ICC rankings for the shortest format, while ODI skipper Shubman Gill has retained the top position in the ODI format.

Shreyas Iyer climbed 18 places to a career-best seventh in the ICC T20I batting rankings after scoring an unbeaten 102 off 43 balls, making him India’s third-highest-ranked batter in the format. Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma remain in the top two, while Tilak Varma is in 10th position.
Axar Patel rose 16 places to seventh among T20I bowlers after taking six wickets in three matches.
In ODIs, Shubman Gill retained the top spot after scoring an unbeaten 223 against the West Indies, reaching a career-best 841 rating points. Virat Kohli slipped to third, while KL Rahul jumped seven places to 10th position after scoring a swashbuckling hundred in the third ODI against the West Indies.
