Defence Minister Rajnath Singh To Attend Key Events Of Multinational Air Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 In Rajasthan

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will attend key events of the multinational air exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 at Air Force Station Jodhpur in Rajasthan today. The exercise, being conducted from September 26 to October 12, aims to strengthen operational cooperation, interoperability and mutual understanding among participating air forces.

Seven friendly foreign countries – Australia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh – are participating alongside the Indian Air Force. Several other countries are taking part as observers. The exercise features a diverse range of advanced aircraft, including the F-35 Lightning II, Rafale, F-16, A400M and KC-30A.
Tarang Shakti provides participating air forces with opportunities for advanced joint training, coordinated mission planning and the exchange of operational expertise.
It also promotes professional interaction among aircrew, mission planners and operational support personnel, with a focus on aerospace safety, mutual learning and a better understanding of each other’s operational procedures. Beyond flying operations, the exercise also includes professional, cultural and outreach activities to strengthen ties and promote cooperation among participating nations.
