Govt distributes litigation work among Law officers
The Jammu and Kashmir Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs on Monday distributed litigation work among 13 newly appointed Law Officers in the Jammu Wing of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
As per order issued here, the distribution of litigation work amongst the Law Officers in Jammu Wing of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has been distributed with allocation of the departments.
S.S.Nanda, Senior Additional Advocate General has been allocated Jammu Municipal Corporation, Revenue Department, Jammu Development Authority and Haj and Auqaf.
Ravinder Gupta, Additional Advocate General has been allocated Public Works(R&B) Department, Housing and Urban Development Department, Industries and Commerce
Department, Geology and Mining Department, Rural Development Department, J&K Projects Construction Corporation, J&K Building and other Construction, Workers Welfare Board and J&K Housing Board.
Amit Gupta, Additional Advocate General has been allocated Health and Medical Education
Department, School Education Department, Power Development Department, Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board and Economic Reconstruction Agency.
Raman Sharma, Additional Advocate General has been allocated Home Department, Anti Corruption Bureau, Jammu and Kashmir Crime Branch, All Un-lawful Activities (Prevention) Act Appeals, Ranjit Singh Jamwal, Additional Advocate General has been allocated Tourism Department, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation, Jal Shakti Department, Skill Development Department, Election Department.
Vishal Bharti, Deputy Advocate General has been allocated Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department, Horticulture Department, Disaster Management Relief Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Department, K.D. S Kotwal, Deputy Advocate General has been allocated Cooperative Department, Youth Services and Sports Department, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Social Welfare Department, Estates Department, Dewakar Sharma, Deputy Advocate General has been allocated Transport Department, Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation, Cable Car Corporation, Floriculture including Gardens and Parks, Labour and Employment Department.
Sunil Malhotra, Government Advocate has been allocated Information Department, Higher Education, Information Technology Department, SIDCO, SICOP, Horticulture, Bhanu Jasrotia, Government Advocate has been allocated Department of Culture, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Khadi Village Industries Board, Adarsh Bhagat, Government Advocate has been allocated Civil Aviation Department, IMPA, Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, J&K Agro Industries Ltd, Eishaan Dadhichi, Government Advocate has been allocated Department of Tribal Affairs, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Science & Technology Department, Hospitality and Protocol Department and Sumeet Bhatia, Government Advocate has been allocated Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority, ARI and Trainings Department, JKBOPEE, Planning Development and Monitoring Department and Ranbir Government Press.
The order further read that the General Administration Department, Finance Department including Financial Corporation and any other Department/Corporation that has not been assigned to any Law Officer shall remain with Ld. Advocate General, J&K; Sumeet Bhatia, Government Advocate shall assist Ld. Advocate General in all Arbitration matters while the allocation is subject to the satisfactory performance of the Law Officers which shall be reviewed periodically.
