One new death, 14 districts records cases in single digit
The Jammu and Kashmir recorded 197 fresh Covid cases on Friday that took the infection tally to 4,51,989, while one more fatality pushed the death toll to 4,746, officials said.

Of the new cases, 118 were from Jammu division and 79 from the Kashmir division, they said.
Doda district recorded the highest 42 new cases followed by 41 in Jammu district.
There are 2,597 active cases in the Union Territory, while the overall recoveries has reached 4,44,646, officials said.
The death toll stands at 4,746 after one more death was reported in the past 24 hours, they said.
There were 51 confirmed cases of Mucormycosis (black fungus) in the Union Territory. No fresh case was reported since last evening, they added.
With 577 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 444,646 which is 98.38 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 30 from Srinagar, 20 from Baramulla, 12 from Budgam, 00 from Pulwama, 05 from Kupwara, 02 from Anantnag, 06 from Bandipora, 01 from Ganderbal, 03 from Kulgam and 00 Shopian in Kashmir division while as 118 from Jammu division include 41 from Jammu district, 01 from Udhampur, 01 from Rajouri, 42 from Doda, 10 from Kathua, 01 from Samba, 01 from Kishtwar, 04 from Poonch, 12 from Ramban and 05 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and the tally stands at 51.
As per officials figures, 102,053 positive cases including 907 deaths and 10,427 recoveries are from Srinagar, 37,547 including 304 deaths and 37,082 recoveries are from Baramulla, 34,768 including 34,451 recoveries and 237 deaths are from Budgam, 18,406 including 18,189 recoveries and 201 deaths are from Pulwama, 21,676 including 174 deaths and 21,424 recoveries are from Kupwara, 22,403 including 22,092 recoveries and 219 deaths are from Anantnag, 13,649 cases including 13,475 and 118 deaths are from Bandipora, 13,624 including 13,502 recoveries and 84 deaths are from Ganderbal, 16,301 including 16,154 recoveries and 118 deaths are from Kulgam and 6,304 including 6,223 recoveries and 60 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 75,692 including 74,001 recoveries and 1,222 deaths are from Jammu district, 14,697 including 14,524 recoveries and 147 deaths are from Udhampur, 12,786 including 12,498 recoveries and 248 deaths are from Rajouri, 11,301 including 10,720 recoveries and 144 deaths are from Doda, 11,358 including 11,130 recoveries and 166 deaths are from Kathua, 9,072 including 8,918 recoveries and 125 deaths are from Samba, 5,841 including 5,780 recoveries and 45 deaths are from Kishtwar, 7,726 including 7,573 recoveries and 110 deaths are from Poonch, 8,092 including 7,887 recoveries and 69 deaths are from Ramban and 8,693 including 8,596 recoveries and 48 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 6,028,195 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 32,751 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 2,597 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 5,543,013 persons have completed the surveillance period and 445,088 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 22,684,520 samples are available. Out of 22,684,520 the number of samples tested negative stands at 22,232,531 while as 451,989 have tested positive, among them 2,597 persons are active, 444,646 persons have recovered and 4,746 persons have died.
