Corbevax available as Covid-19 precautionary dose at vaccination centers from today

Corbevax is now available as a Covid precautionary dose at vaccination centers. Corbevax is a heterologous vaccine, which can be administered to those who took either Covaxin or Covishield as the first two doses.

The Health Ministry approved Corbevax as a booster dose under emergency use authorization on recommendations of the Covid-19 Working Group of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation.

Talking to  News channel , Chairman of Covid Task Force N K Arora said the precautionary dose is available through the Cowin Portal from today.
