Sensex up by 385 points; Nifty adds 115 points

Sensex and Nifty witnessed gains of more than half a percent in afternoon trade. Both the indices rose around 0.63 percent, amid positive cues from global share markets.

The Sensex was trading near 61,900 points while the Nifty was trading near 18,400 level.

The Sensex rose 385 points to trade at 61,896. The Nifty added 115 points to trade at 18,382.
