Afghanistan: Former lawmaker Mursal Nabizada shot dead at her residence in Kabul

Mursal Nabizada, a former female lawmaker of Afghanistan was shot dead along with her bodyguard by unknown assailants at her residence in the capital city of Kabul.

Spokesperson of the Kabul Security Department, Khalid Zadran, said that Mursal Nabizada, a former representative of Laghman province in the Afghan Parliament was killed by unknown gunmen in Kabul city.

Mursal Nabizada was one of the few female parliamentarians who were living in Kabul after the Taliban formed its government in Afghanistan in August 2021.
