Hockey World Cup: Match between India and England ends in goalless draw

In FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023, a Pool D match between India and England ended in a goalless draw at Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela. Earlier in another Pool D match, Spain registered first win beating Wales by 5-1 at the same venue.

For Spain, Reyne Marc and Miralles Marc scored two goals each while Iglesias Alvaro struck once. Apart from Miralles’ penalty corner conversion all others were field goals. On the other hand, Wales could create only one penalty corner chance. However, they failed to capitalize on it.
