Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan to appear before Islamabad HC bench for seeking bail in Al-Qadir Trust case
Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will appear before a three-member Islamabad High Court bench today, for seeking bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

The high court complex is surrounded by large containers to restrict access and strict security arrangements have been made, with only a limited number of people allowed inside. In a major relief for Imran Khan, Pakistan’s Supreme Court yesterday declared his arrest “illegal” and ordered his immediate release.
The dramatic arrest of the PTI chief on Tuesday had triggered clashes between his supporters and police and paramilitary forces across the country, killing nearly a dozen people. The army was called in to restore order. Police in the capital Islamabad have imposed an emergency order banning any gathering of more than four people as Khan’s supporters are expected to march to the capital.
