Defence Ministry says 17th Staff talks between Indian and French Navy witnessed active participation from both sides
The 17th Staff talks between the Indian and French Navy was held on the 6th and 7th of this month in New Delhi. The meeting was co-chaired by Assistant Chief of Naval Staff, Foreign Cooperation and Intelligence, Indian Navy, Rear Admiral Nirbhay Bapna and International Engagements Director, French Navy, Rear Admiral Jean Marc Durandau.

In a release, the Defence Ministry said that the talks witnessed active participation from both sides. It further added, Major discussions included operational, training and Subject Matter Expert exchanges. The Ministry said that both sides acknowledged the growing cooperation between the two Navies and agreed to enhance collaboration and interoperability in the maritime domain.
