Engineer suspended after ACB arrests him on corruption charges

The Roads and Building Department of Jammu and Kashmir has suspended Engineer Mubarak Ahmad Ganaie, Incharge Assistant Executive Engineer, following his arrest by the Anti Corruption Bureau.

  The suspension order, issued by Commissioner Secretary Bhupinder Singh, takes effect from October 16, 2024, as per Rule 31(2) of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.

 During his suspension, Ganaie will be attached to the office of Chief Engineer, Public Works North Kashmir.

 The suspension will remain in effect until further notice, pending the outcome of the investigation. (KNT)
