Manzoor Ahmad Appointed Additional Secretary to Deputy CM, Abdul Khabir Shifted to Mining Department

Srinagar,  KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered the transfer and posting of two senior officers in the interest of administrative efficiency.

As per Government Order No. 620-JK(GAD) of 2025 issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Mr. Manzoor Ahmad, who was serving as Additional Secretary (Legal) in the Power Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary with the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, Mr. Abdul Khabir, JKAS, who was functioning as Special Assistant to the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, has been posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government in the Mining Department.

The order, signed by M. Raju (IAS), Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, states that the transfers are effective immediately. [KNT]
