Union Minister Amit Shah Inaugurates New Office Of NUCFDC In Mumbai

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah today inaugurated the new office complex of the National Urban Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation (NUCFDC) in Mumbai’s Fort area. Several related services were also launched by the Union Cooperation Minister. Mr Shah also launched a coffee table book on ‘Operational Risk Management and Resilience’ and felicitated representatives of six cooperative banks on the occasion.

On this occasion, NUCFDC and the National Forensic Sciences University signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The collaboration will play an important role in strengthening cybersecurity, technological capabilities, and institutional capacity in the Urban Cooperative Banking sector. Mr Shah will later attend the BSE International Convention Centre, alongside Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He will also inaugurate a Security Operations Centre (SOC) to strengthen the cybersecurity of Urban Cooperative Banks.
