Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Expresses Gratitude To India For Conveying Independence Day Greetings
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed gratitude to India and President Droupadi Murmu for conveying Independence Day greetings to the people of Ukraine.
President Murmu yesterday extended her greetings to the people of Ukraine on the occasion of the country’s 35th Independence Day. In a social media post, President Zelenskyy thanked President Murmu for her wishes for peace.
Stressing the strengthening of bilateral ties, Zelenskyy also reaffirmed Ukraine’s commitment to further developing a mutually beneficial dialogue with India.
Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha thanked External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar for his congratulatory message and expressed hope that India-Ukraine relations would deepen further.
Meanwhile, India’s Ambassador to Ukraine, Anjani Kumar, attended the official Independence Day celebrations in Kyiv and conveyed India’s greetings to the Ukrainian leadership.
