Environment Minister Emphasises Need To Protect Vultures To Secure The Ecological Future

Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav has emphasised the need to protect vultures to secure the ecological future.

In a social media post on International Vulture Awareness Day today, Mr Yadav said that vultures are nature’s own cleanup team, playing a vital role in keeping ecosystems clean, preventing the spread of diseases and maintaining ecological balance.

He noted that the government is taking concerted steps towards vulture conservation to ensure that these important birds once again soar across the country’s skies.

The Union Minister also urged the citizens to renew their pledge to protect vultures, restore their habitats and safeguard the delicate balance of ecosystems.
