Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal Pays Tribute To Padmashree Indira Miri Baideo On Her Death Anniversary

Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal today paid tribute to Padmashree Indira Miri Baideo on her death anniversary.

In a social media post on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Mr Sonowal said that Indira Miri Baideo played a pioneering role in the spread of education in various corners of the Northeast.

Mr Sonowal underscored that Baideo’s contributions in spreading the light of education among women and marginalised sections of society will always remain memorable.

He further added that by establishing education as a medium of social transformation, Baideo’s ideals and dedication will continue to inspire the new generation.
