Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Meets Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake In Colombo

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held a meeting with the President of Sri Lanka, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, in Colombo today.

During the meeting, both leaders reaffirmed that, as civilisational twins, close neighbours and maritime partners, India and Sri Lanka will continue to work together for the development of both countries and the welfare of their people. In a social media post, Mr Singh said that they also reaffirmed their commitment to work jointly to ensure the safety, security, peace and prosperity of the region.
