Tarigami raises Anganwadi, ASHA workers’ issues in Assembly

Srinagar,  KNT: CPI(M) MLA Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami on Thursday raised the issues of Anganwadi and ASHA workers in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, seeking government attention to their demands and remuneration.

Tarigami called for measures to address the concerns of workers engaged in the two frontline community-based services.

The issue was raised during the ongoing autumn session of the Assembly as members discussed matters relating to welfare and working conditions of the workers. [KNT]
