Residential house damaged in fire at Sangambati Mugalmaidan

Congress demands compensation to fire victim

KISHTWAR, AUGUST 25: Former Minister and Vice President J&K Congress Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has expressed shock and grief over the tragic fire incident in Sangambati area of Tehsil Mugalmaidan in which residential house and two commercial shops were completely gutted in devastating fire last night.

The owner of the house and shops is Om Prakash son of Lakhmi Ram resident of Simbole Kuchal.

Mr. Saroori asked the administration to carry out relief and rehabilitation measures viz ensure proper and timely compensation to the fire victim.

He urged upon the Lieutenant Governor Mukesh Sinha for early setting up of fire service stations at Chatroo, Mugalmaidan, Kahara, Bunjwah, Sarthal, Thakrie, Drabshalla, Warawan and Nagseni areas.

Meanwhile senior Congress leaders include Captain Amarchand, Shabir Ahmed Lone, Bidya Lal Sharma, Ali Mohd Naik, Duni Chand, Abdul Latief Shah, Abdul Rashid, Ghulam Mohd, Chowdhary Qasim Din, Mohd Yusuf, Shareefa Begum, Farooq Ahmed, Ghulam Nabi Mir, Mohd Rafi Sheikh, Raj Kumar, Mehraj Ud Din, Tariq Hussain, Abdul Azeez, Mohd Rafiq Shah, Chowdhary Bashir Ahmed, Piyaray Lal, Ghulam Rasool, Sajjad Hussain, Ghulam Rasool, Suresh Kumar, Ghulam Mohd, Firdous Ahmed, Tilak Raj, Nazir Ahmed, Mohd Imran, Jaffer Ganie, Mushtaq Ahmed, Mehraj Din, Majeed Khan and others also urged the administration to compensate the losses to downtrodden family at the earliest.
