Rs 9725.15 crore spent on Covid-19 vaccination programme till now

The centre has spent 9725.15 crore rupees on Covid-19 vaccination programme till now. This includes procurement of vaccines and operational cost of vaccination. Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Bharati Pawar informed this in the Lok Sabha today.

In a written reply, she said that there has been no delay in entering into purchase agreements with the domestic vaccine manufacturers. 135 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine are expected to be available between August to December 2021.
