Aamir Farooq; The young event management entrepreneur shows the way to success

Jammu, March 24, 2022: Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory has produced many top-notch
entrepreneurs who are leading in their respective careers and brining glory to the state.
One such name is Aamir Farooq founder director Atlas Events who needs no introduction when it
comes to event management in the state.

In this conversation with Rohit Bhat, Bureau Chief of The Right News (TRN) Aamir reveals how he
managed to carve a niche for himself and his event management company in the state through his
innovative ideas and hard work.

Aamir who has worked with many MNCs in India and abroad floated his own event management
company Atlas Event after returning to India in 2013 and finally settling down in J&K to start a new
venture which he says was to bring new and innovative ideas in event management to the state
where he saw huge potential but less awareness.

Aamir says he is a common man who dreams big and gives full credit to his team who work tirelessly
to lift the standards in the event management sector.

He first started his work in Goa where he managed a big event Goa Carnival which was appreciated
by one and all and finally shifted to his home state to give it a new and innovative way of organising
events of any kind.

Aamir says that they started from small events and slowly and steadily worked towards progress and
feels that his company has grown a lot since past nine years in the business.

He feels pride in telling us that for the past nine years they have managed almost all the big events
of the state be it government or private sector and have always given something out-of-the-box
ides.

His Jammu Mohatsav was a big success and was instrumental in organising first ever Floating Cinema
in Kashmir during House Boat Festival which was reported widely throughout the world.

Speaking about the challenges he faced Aamir says that every region has its own challenges and it
only gives us more experience and informs that his company has tied up with more than twenty top
notch celebrities for their events and hopes that local talent gets more recognition for which his
company is working to give them big platforms during the events.

For the youth of today he recites a couplet, “Ghirtey Hain Sheh Sawar Hi Maidan-E-Jung Mein, Woh
Tifle Kya Ghirey Jo Ghutnoon Ke Bal Chaley”, thus asking the youth to think out-of-the-box and face
the challenge head on adding the success is guaranteed if you believe in yourself and are ready for
hard work.

Aamir says that his company has fixed its own benchmarks for themselves and always want to cross
those benchmarks with success adding youth who are passionate about their work are bound to
succeed.

He said that his company will be organising workshops for the youth to take up the job in event
management as there is huge potential but one has to think out of box.
He asked youth to dream big, have faith, work hard and go for it.
