H&UDD to provide end-to-end registration renewal of services
The Housing and Urban Development Department (H&UDD) has accorded sanction for providing end-to-end registration renewal of 15 services and schemes in online mode in Jammu and Kashmir.
The services will be provided by the portal website https://singlewindow.jk.gov.in which allows the applicant to track the status of the application.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to provide end to end registration and renewal process of the following services/schemes of the Housing & Urban Development Department in online mode through the portal (https://singlewindow.jk.gov.in/) with all the features mandated by DPIIT under EODB,” reads the order issued by Dheeraj Gupta, Principal Secretary to the Government, H&UDD.
The online services that the Housing and Urban Development Department will provide include building permission-construction permit, signage license for advertisement, sanction for storage of construction material, trade license (common platform for all trades) and application for grant of trade license (pet shop/pet trade/bird trade/pet/clinic/other trades) municipal corporation.
It also includes the application for mobile tower installation permission, road cutting permission for municipal corporations only, road cutting permission for municipal councils/municipal committees only, and sewerage connection for a municipal corporation only/municipal committee only.
Further, the online services include an application for no objection certificate of any physical for commercial establishments for the municipal corporation only, an application for no objection certificate for commercial establishments for municipal committee only, an application for issuance of street vending/rehri license, application for provisional registration of dairy farm/gaushalla and application for permission of trade fair/mela/exhibition for municipal corporations only.
The online services’ features include all necessary procedures and checklists published on the portal, timelines for delivery of service mandated through the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Delivery Guarantee Act, the procedure for application submission, and payment of lees (wherever applicable) made online.
The portal allows an applicant to track the status of the application, the applicant can download the final certificate from the portal and there is no requirement of any physical touch point between the applicant and the department or agency.
