Nationwide Vaccination Drive: over 215 crore 44 lakh vaccine doses administered so far

India’s Covid vaccination coverage has crossed the 215 crore 44 lakh mark. More than 16 lakh vaccine doses were administered on September 12.

Health Ministry said, the cumulative first dose of Covid vaccine has been administered to over 102 crore 38 lakh and the second dose has been administered to more than 94 crore 55 lakh.

The Ministry said, over 18 crore 50 lakh precaution doses have been administered to the identified categories of beneficiaries including Health Care Workers, Front Line Workers, and people above 18 years of age.
