Coastal Clean Up Campaign organised at several places in coastal districts of Kerala

The Coastal Clean Up Campaign was organised at several places in the coastal districts of Kerala.

Governor Arif Mohammed Khan inaugurated the campaign at Kuzhupilly beach at Vypeen in Kochi on Saturday morning. Launching the event, the Governor said the ocean and coastline form a repository of vast marine resources of multiple biodiversities which need to be protected.

He hoped that the campaign will lead to a behavioural change amongst the masses in handling waste and keeping the coastline and the sea waste-free. Several school students, NCC cadets and volunteers participated in the Coastal Cleanup campaign.
