Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya participates in cycle rally to raise awareness on TB elimination

Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya participated in a cycle rally in New Delhi yesterday, October 3 to raise public awareness on TB elimination and non-communicable diseases.

In a tweet, Dr. Mandaviya said, he cycled at Kartavya Path with hardworking and talented students from AIIMS, New Delhi to raise public awareness on TB elimination. He said, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal, the government is committed to make India TB Free by 2025.

Talking to reporters, Dr. Mandaviya said, over nine lakh tuberculosis patients have been adopted under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
