Stock Market: Sensex gains 347 points, Nifty to trade at 17,977

The Sensex and the Nifty today witnessed gains of more than half a percent in the afternoon trade. Both stocks added amid mixed global cues.

The Sensex was trading above 60,400 points while the Nifty was trading near the 18,000 mark.

The Sensex gained 347 points to trade at 60,440 The Nifty also rose 83 points to trade at 17,977.
