Prof Syed Wajahat Amin Shah Appointed Dean of Kashmir University’s School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences

Srinagar,  KNT: The University of Kashmir has nominated Prof Syed Wajahat Amin Shah of the Department of Chemistry as Dean of the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences for a period of three years.

The appointment will take effect from November 8, 2026, and will remain in force for three years or until Prof Shah attains the age of superannuation, whichever is earlier.

The nomination follows the completion of the tenure of Prof Manzoor Ahmad Malik, who previously held the position.

The university issued the notification  under the authority of the Vice-Chancellor. [KNT]
