Government to adopt strategy to wean youth away from drugs.

RLJP national general secretary sanjay saraf advised the Government to deal with the drug pandemic as strictly and seriously  as was dealt with Covid pandemic.

Rashtriya Lok Jan Shakti Party, continuing its anti-Drug campaign, took out a march in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday, during which people were made aware of the ravages of drugs and its implications.  Saraf Demanded strict law enforcement to check drug abuses.

He said that drug addicts be placed in rehabilitation centres, and asked the government to set up at least one rehabilitation centre in every parlimentary constituency.

The government should  set up   sports complexes in every constituency to keep youngsters engaged in meaningful activities that would keep them away from drugs Saraf said

Saraf demanded that medical shops selling over the counter medical drugs those are bought by youngsters without prescription impact their lives the medical pharma store owners selling such drugs without prescription to youngsters to children should  be dealt with in the same manner as peddlers.

He said the government should stop smuggling of drugs as a first step to curb drug abuse. “present Government is committed to take strict action against drug mafia. This government has to stop it at any cost,” he said, adding the children  need to be educated right from schools.
