Seven persons died in road accident in Sambalpur district of Odisha

In Odisha, seven persons died in a road accident in the Sambalpur district. According to reports, a vehicle carrying a marriage party lost control while negotiating a steep curve and plunged headlong into the waters of a roadside canal near Paramanpur late last night.

Subsequently, while seven dead bodies were recovered from the water, three injured persons have been admitted to the local hospital.

All the seven deceased belong to a village in the nearby Jharsuguda district.
