India is looking at becoming the 3rd largest economy in world, Union Minister says

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal has said that India is looking at becoming the 3rd largest economy in the world and the vision is to create India as a manufacturing base, technology hub and innovation center of the world. Addressing 96th Annual General Meeting and Annual Convention of Industry body FICCI in New Delhi today, Mr. Goyal said, India is looking at an exponential growth journey.

He said, the vision is that the services sector will engage and grow with the best of technology and modern thoughts across the world. The Minister said, incredible India is slowly turning into an inevitable India. He said, all countrymen are committed to make India a developed nation and are looking at a 10 times growth to become a 35 trillion dollar economy by 2047. Mr Goyal said, India is becoming self-reliant, Atmanirbhar Bharat- a Bharat that is not only vocal for local but a Bharat which goes global. He said, a Bharat which looks at modern technology and innovation empowering the future.
