Health Minister inaugurates various healthcare facilities at AIIMS Gorakhpur

Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya today inaugurated various healthcare facilities at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Gorakhpur virtually.

These facilities include a Night Shelter at AIIMS Gorakhpur which has been constructed at a cost of rupees 85 crores. This Night Shelter will provide a place for relatives of poor patients to stay comfortably and at an affordable price within the premises of the Hospital and close to their near and dear ones. It has a total of 21 rooms and a capacity of 167 people along with the facility of male and female dormitory

Union Health Minister also inaugurated a Shopping Complex at AIIMS Gorakhpur which has five shops and a dining hall constructed with a cost of 2 crores.

Through this facility, the residents within the campus will be most benefited as they will get access to daily and routine commodities. Mr Mandviya also inaugurated Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra at AIIMS Gorakhpur which will help in providing quality generic medicines to the patients at an affordable price.
