Sajad Lone Demands Clarification from NC on Article 370 Issue

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference President Sajad Loneasked the ruling National Conference (NC) to come clean on its stand on Article 370.

According to the Associated News Bureau (ANB), Lone’s statement comes in the wake of remarks made by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who recently clarified that his party has never discussed the restoration of Article 370, which grants special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

Lone expressed concern over the lack of transparency from the NC on this critical issue, questioning whether the people of Jammu and Kashmir deserve any clarification from the party. He said,

“Now even the All India President of Congress, Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge, has clarified that they never talked about getting Article 370 back. Do the people of Jammu and Kashmir not deserve even a clarification from the National Conference?” (ANB)
