Badhal Deaths: Three Siblings Discharged from Hospitals

KNT: Three sisters from Badhal village in Rajouri—Tazeem Akhter (23), Khalida Begum (18), and Nazia Kouser (16)—have been discharged after recovering from a mysterious alleged illness.
Officials said that the trio were receiving treatment at GMC Jammu and SMGS Jammu and have now returned home, where they remain under observation along with their families and close contacts.
Officials added that another patient, Aijaz Ahmad, who was admitted to PGI Chandigarh, is also showing encouraging signs of recovery. Similarly, other patients treated at GMC Rajouri have successfully recovered from the illness, bringing some relief to the villagers.
The mysterious ailment, which has baffled medical professionals, has claimed 17 lives in Badhal village to date. [KNT]
