Lieutenant Governor Chairs High-Level Security Review Meeting

JAMMU, ANB :Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today chaired a high-level meeting with senior officials to assess the current security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting was attended by Shri Nalin Prabhat, DGP J&K; Shri Chandraker Bharti, Principal Secretary Home; Shri Nitish Kumar, ADGP CID J&K; Dr Mandeep K. Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor; Shri Bhim Sen Tuti, IGP Jammu; and Shri Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range.

Emphasizing the collective determination of the people of J&K and the entire nation, the Lieutenant Governor stated, “It is our united resolve to eliminate the roots of terrorism emanating from across the border. We must remain steadfast in achieving this mission.”

He directed officials to intensify efforts to eradicate terrorism and dismantle its entire support infrastructure across the Union Territory. “Strong and coordinated action must be taken against overground workers (OGWs) aiding terrorists by providing logistics, identifying targets, and facilitating their escape. The support network of terrorism must be destroyed in every part of J&K,” he asserted. According to the news agency associated news bureau ANB that The Lieutenant Governor also underlined the need to bolster the security grid and called for enhanced coordination and synergy among all security agencies. “Our top priority must be to instill a sense of safety and confidence among the common people,” he added. ANB.
