Sensex, Nifty open a tad lower amid mixed global cues

Domestic benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, opened lower amid mixed global cues, as selling was seen in the auto, PSU bank and financial service sectors in the early morning trade today.

Sensex declined 243 points to 81,815, while Nifty dropped 73 points to 24,871 in the early trade, when reports last came in.
In the Asian markets, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Bangkok, Seoul and Jakarta were trading in green.
