BRICS Women’s Ministerial Meeting Reviews Draft Resolution In Kochi

Ministers from various countries held discussions yesterday on the draft resolution during the BRICS Women’s Ministerial Meeting. Under India’s BRICS Chairship 2026, the meeting is being organised by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj in Kochi.

The BRICS Women’s Working Group meeting was held in Kochi ahead of the ministerial meeting to discuss key issues related to women’s empowerment and women-led development. The joint resolution of the Ministerial Meeting is expected to be adopted this evening.
