Maharashtra’s Hingoli Hit By 4.6-Magnitude Earthquake, No Major Damage Reported

In Maharashtra, a series of tremors were felt in Hingoli district in the early hours today, causing panic among residents. The strongest tremor, measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale, was recorded around 1:37 AM, with the epicentre located near Pangra Shinde village in Vasmat taluka.
Subsequent tremors were reported at 2:15 AM, 2:17 AM, 2:48 AM and 2:50 AM. Residents in several villages rushed out of their homes as a precaution. Reports of minor cracks in some houses have been received.
The tremors were also felt in parts of Latur district, including Udgir, and in Parbhani district. No loss of life or major property damage has been reported so far. The District Administration of Hingoli and Parbhani are monitoring the situation and have appealed to citizens to remain calm and avoid rumours.
