Railway Suspends Ticket Checker Over Unauthorised Entry Of A Private Decorator Into First AC Coupe

The South Central Railway has suspended a Ticket Checker over the unauthorised entry of a private decorator into a First AC coupe. The Railway said that a couple travelling on the Nandigram Express had privately hired a decorator online to decorate their First AC coupe.

It said the decorator’s entry into the coach was unauthorised and is being treated as a serious security lapse. The Railway added that a detailed departmental inquiry has been ordered into the matter, and appropriate action will be taken based on the inquiry’s findings.
