LG Manoj Sinha Reviews Medical, Security Arrangements at Baltal Base Hospital
Ganderbal, KNT: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday visited the Base Hospital at Baltal in Sonamarg, where he reviewed the medical and security arrangements put in place for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
During his visit, the Lieutenant Governor interacted with pilgrims and enquired about their well-being and the facilities being provided during the pilgrimage.
He also inspected the hospital’s medical infrastructure and reviewed healthcare services available for pilgrims at the base camp.
Officials briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the security measures, emergency response mechanism and other essential arrangements made to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the annual pilgrimage.
The Lieutenant Governor directed the concerned officials to maintain high standards of healthcare, security and other public services so that pilgrims continue to receive timely assistance throughout the yatra. [KNT]
