J&K Likely to Witness Light Rain, Snow Over Higher Reaches from October 25

Srinagar, KNT: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness generally dry weather over the coming days, followed by cloudy conditions and the possibility of light rain at scattered places from October 25 to 27, according to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.

In its weather update, the department said the weather would remain generally dry from October 17 to 24. Between October 25 and 27, cloudy conditions are expected, with light rain at scattered places and the possibility of light snowfall over higher reaches.

Thunder and gusty winds may accompany the weather activity, the department said.

The Meteorological Centre has advised farmers to resume harvesting and other agricultural operations in view of the expected weather conditions. [KNT]
