Pr Secy Edu throws ball to ATD; DSEJ, DSEK for transfers of Masters, Teachers

Releasing the pressure from political and bureaucratic circles for transfers of Masters and Teachers, BK Singh, Principal Secretary School Education Department Friday threw the ball in the court of Director School Education Jammu, Director School Education Kashmir and three stages of Automated (ATD) process.

Official sources said that Singh issues public notice at the time when the transfer lists are being prepared as per the direction of GAD that the transfers to be taken place once in a year preferably in the month of April. They said that Singh was also receiving a number of representations from education staff and phone calls from police, politician and bureaucracy circle for the transfers of their blue eyed Masters and Teachers.

The general notice issued by him and access by The News Now read as, “ An impression has been created that decision regarding transfer and posting of masters and teachers are being taken by School Education Department. Fact is that processing of all online applications through an automated process through NIC being done on the basis of inputs from CPIS, Director School Education Jammu, Director School Education Kashmir and Chief Education Officers. No additional input is being utilized by the School Education Department. On the basis of these inputs and processing, these outputs or outcomes are being sent to the Director School Education Jammu and Director School Education Kashmir and CEOs for verification and issuance of transfer orders at their end. The basis of three stages ATD 2022 is being followed by both the Directors of School Education Jammu and Kashmir and CEOs in case of Masters and Teachers respectively. Hence Masters and Teachers are requested to approach Director School Education Jammu/Kashmir for their issues regarding posting and transfers.
