Jammu, September 17, 2020: A week long “International SHARDA Festival 2020-SHARADA MAHOUTSAV-2020” was organised on digital media format organised by RMK Arts & Research Foundation from 8th Sept.to 14th Sept.2020 at 7 pm daily.
According to a press note issued by RMK Arts, “In view of the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic this grand historical festival was organised by RMK Arts first of its kind never ever been presented in the past that too on digital online media format prior or post migration was devoted to Sharda Devi the Godess Of Learning Music,Knowledge & Fine Arts being Adhishthatri Devi Of Kashmir having its own significance, importance,History, Cultural heritage & Mahatmay depicting “Namesty Sharda Devi-Kashmir Purwasiny”.
Highlights of this Grand festival was presentation of programmes through online digital Media format covering different fields of Music,Dance, Webinar,Art & literature, Paintings, History, Rituals, Costumes & costumes and Mythological aspects being brought to viewers online direct from highly professional well equipped Multi Camera Setup RMK studio on ( RMK Radio & RMK TV ).
Most famous and renowned National & Internationally acclaimed Writers, Poets,Dancers, Artists, Historians, Painters & Critics took part to grace this week long festival.

( Significance,beliefs &Evidences)Poster image of Sharda Devi is creative work of famous Artists Sh. Bushan Koul ji.
Raag Sharada devloped and presentation by Renowned Music composer and Santoor mestro Abay Rustum Sopori. Sharada Dance by famous National Odissi dancer Kavita Dewbedi. Sharada Astuti sung by in Russian classical music by Karpeco Nataliia from Saint peters berg Russia. Sara lue gates spoke about Kashmir Shivisam fro Australia Laxmi Kaul from London spoke about Kashmir history, Shivani from Singapore spoke about the cultural diversity. Singers Archana Jalali from Canada . Renu Lata Kaul from Lucknow. Pt.Bajan Sopori from Delhi and pt. T.K.jalali threw light on importance of Kashmir music.Singers Lovely Chandra, Rajinder Kachroo, Dileep Langoo and dancer by Superna Saproo all from Delhi. Singer Ramesh Kaul from Bangalore, Dr.Deepaliwattal, Sidharth Kaul & Sonali Dogra Singers from Jammu. Special invitees to talk on sculptures was by Avtar Mota from Delhi & Karm-Kand highlighted by Sanjay Raina from Jammu.
