J&K reports 34 fresh cases
Jammu and Kashmir Monday reported 34 fresh cases of Covid-19, taking the number of active cases to 793 while no more death was reported in the UT in last 24 hours and death toll stands at 4,783.
Officials said that among 34 new cases,25 belong to Kashmir division while as 09 to Jammu division.
He said that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir have reached to 304,567 including 301,565 recoveries and 2,433 deaths, while total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 173,790 including 171,216 recoveries and 2,350 deaths. He further said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 793 including 569 from Kashmir division and 224 from Jammu division.

With 141:more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in J&K has reached to 472,7811 which is 98.85 percent of the total cases.
“Among the fresh 34 cases today, 14 are from Srinagar, 05 from Baramulla, 02 from Budgam, 02 from Pulwama, 00 from Kupwara, 00 from Anantnag, 00 from Bandipora, 00 from Ganderbal, 02 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while 09 are from Jammu division that include 05 from Jammu district, 00 from Udhampur, 00 from Rajouri, 01 from Doda, 01 from Kuthua , 01 from Samba, 00 from Kishtwar, 01 from Poonch, 00 from Ramban and 00 from Reasi,” said the official.
As per the daily information bulletin 6,698,931 persons in J&K are under observation while 177 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides 793 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 6,692,779 persons have completed the surveillance period and 399 persons are under home surveillance besides so far results of 26,499,339 samples are available.
“Out of 26,499,339 the number of samples tested negative stands at 26,020,982 while 478,357 have tested positive, among them 793 cases are active, 472,4781 have recovered and 4,783 persons have died,” it added.
