World Ice Skating Day celebrated in South Pullu area of Khardungla in Ladakh

At an elevation of 1550 ft, World Ice Skating Day was celebrated in the South Pullu area of Khardungla in the Union Territory of Ladakh. The event was organised by the Ladakh Skating Association in collaboration with the Ice Skating Association of India.

Participants from various countries were part of the ice skating team led by coach Mohd Abbass Nordakh. The Ice Skating Association of India organised the festival in several regions of the country. Ice Skating Day is celebrated across the globe on 3rd December annually, as designated by the International Ice Skating Union (ISU).
